Martina Topley Bird è una delle grandi anticonformiste del British pop. Quando per la prima volta, nel 1995, ha proiettato ombre sconosciute ed esaltanti sulla musica contemporanea del ‘Maxinquaye’ di Tricky, nessuno si aspettava che fosse l’esordio di un così prezioso giovane talento.
